Listen: Dr. Daniel Gordis Deconstructs the Israeli Elections
Most would agree that the upcoming elections are critical for Israel, but do they hold importance for the rest of the world, as well? Also, what are these elections really about (hint: not the issues), and what will be the takeaways from the results? These and other questions were the subject of Shalem Senior Vice President and Koret Distinguished Fellow Dr. Daniel Gordis’s recent briefing call with members of the Shalem College community on April 4th, an essential primer for understanding the significance and implications of the 2019 elections in the Jewish state.
Shalem College, Israel’s first college dedicated to the study of the ideas that shaped both the Western and Jewish traditions, strives to prepare a new generation of leadership for the Jewish state and people. This call is part of the “Shared Intelligence” series, which offers insights and analyses from Shalem experts on issues at the top of the Israeli public agenda.
