Dr. Shoval Shafat

Dr. Shoval Shafat is a lecturer at the Bar-Ilan University Faculty of Law and in the Department of Philosophy and Jewish Thought at Shalem College. A former scholar at the Tikvah Center at New York University, Shafat has taught rabbinic literature and Jewish thought at various academic institutions in Israel and led the Academic Bet Midrash at Givat Washington. The recipient of the Riklis Prize for Research in Jewish Law and two doctoral degrees, he is the editor of two collections of articles by the Orthodox thinker Isaac Breuer.
