Dr. Amichai Amit is a faculty member at the Mandel School of Educational Leadership, and a lecturer in the Lobel Core Curriculum and at the Interdisciplinary Program in Philosophy and Jewish Thought at Shalem College. His research deals with a variety of areas, from questions concerning the nature of values ​​and their political expression, through issues of meaning in life, to more applied areas, such as environmental ethics and the ethics of technology. Dr. Amit holds a master’s degree in philosophy from Tel Aviv University and a doctorate from the University of Chicago, where he taught until 2018.
