Dr. Daniel Stambler
The David & Judith Lobel Core Curriculum
Dr. Daniel Stambler is a lecturer of English in the Lobel Core Curriculum at Shalem College and a senior lecturer in the Department of English as a Foreign Language at the Jerusalem Interdisciplinary College (formerly Hadassah College). Winner of the Hadassah Academic College Award of Excellence for teaching and the Ruth Bach Presidential Award for Excellence in Educational Commitment, he has taught English at academic and non-academic institutions throughout Jerusalem. The founder of the Zen Center of Jerusalem, Dr. Stambler also teaches Buddhism and writes frequently on Buddhist themes.
