Prof. Avinoam Rosenak
Prof. Avinoam Rosenak is a senior lecturer in the Department of Jewish Thought, head of the Center for Jewish Thought and Education at the Melton Center for Jewish Education, and a senior lecturer in the Seymour Fox School of Education – all at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He holds the Mandel Chair in Jewish Education at the Hebrew University; is a senior research fellow at the Van Leer Institute, and a lecturer in the Lobel Core Curriculum at the Shalem College. Prof. Rosenak is also co-director of the “Talking Peace” project. His main research areas are philosophy of Halacha, modern Jewish thought, and philosophy of Jewish education. Prof. Rosenk has written six books, edited 11 books, and published numerous academic articles in journals and books.
