Dr. Assaf Inbari is an author, essayist, and literary critic. Best known for his novel Home, which chronicles the history of the kibbutz movement, he is an expert on the poet Haim Nahman Bialik in particular and early Zionist thought in general. Many of his essays are concerned with philosophical attempts to define a unique Hebrew literature and culture. A former lecturer at Tel Aviv and Bar-Ilan Universities, Inbari was nominated for the Sapir Prize, Israel’s leading literary honor.
