Dr. Alon Levkowitz

Dr. Alon Levkowitz is senior lecturer and the head of the Social Science and Civics Department at Beit Berl College, a lecturer in Asian studies in the Multidisciplinary Studies Program at Bar-Ilan University, a research associate in Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies (BESA), and a lecturer in the Department of Strategy, Diplomacy, and Security at Shalem College. An expert on security and foreign policy in East Asia, the relations between East Asian countries and the Middle East, and democracy and civics education in Israel, he is the author of Korea: Politics and History (2003) and numerous articles on arms control in Asian countries, Middle Eastern affairs, American policy in Asia, and more.
