Prof. Abraham Diskin

Prof. Abraham Diskin is a professor emeritus of political science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and a lecturer in Shalem College’s Department of Strategy, Diplomacy, and Security. Previously the chair of the Political Science Department of the Hebrew University and the Israel Political Science Association, he has served as a visiting professor at universities in the United States, Japan, and Canada, and has published 20 academic books and monographs and hundreds of academic articles. Prof. Diskin frequently serves as an analyst for both the Israeli and international media on Israeli politics, and consults for Knesset committees, governmental ministries, and Israeli politicians. In the early 1990s, Diskin chaired the Cadets’ Committee of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and later served as the statistician of the Central Committee of Elections in Israel.
