Grad Pride: Mordy Miller ’18, Finding New Insights in Ancient Texts
Mordy Miller ’18 is the next subject of “Grad Pride,” a video series that follows our alumni as they contribute to their country and people through influential professions in a range of fields. Mordy, who is pursuing a doctoral degree on the connection between Kabbalah and modern Israeli politics as a Kreitman Scholar at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, earned his Master’s degree in Jewish philosophy as a Mandel Scholar at Jerusalem’s Hebrew University. There, he mined ancient manuscripts for insights into the ideas that defined the Jewish people in the Middle Ages—and that can enhance Jewish identity today. Watch to learn more.
