אריק סדן
פרופ' אריק סדן הוא חוקר השפה הערבית, ומתמחה במחשבה הדקדוקית הערבית ובבלשנות הערבית הקלאסית, המודרנית והמדוברת. הוא היה עמית מחקר במיזם Biblia Arabica (ראו https://biblia-arabica.com) והחל משנת 2015 הוא מרצה בתוכנית ללימודי המזרח התיכון והאסלאם במרכז האקדמי שלם.
פרופ' סדן הוא בעל תואר דוקטור בשפה וספרות ערבית מהאוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים. את פרויקט הפוסט-דוקטורט הראשון הוא השלים באוניברסיטת פריז ובאוניברסיטת פרידריך שילר ביינה. הוא חוקר השפה הערבית ומתמחה במחשבה הדקדוקית הערבית ובבלשנות ערבית. ספרו הראשון, The Subjunctive Mood in Arabic- Grammatical Thought, נחשב בר-סמכא בתחומו.
