Shalem Press Publishes Hayek’s Constitution of Liberty

Shalem Press has just released the first-ever Hebrew translation of Friedrich Hayek’s Constitution of Liberty, one of the twentieth-century’s seminal works of political philosophy. Arguing that the West has lost faith in the principles of freedom, Hayek, winner of the Nobel Prize in economics, urges us to recognize that liberty is in truth the prerequisite for wealth and growth, rather than the other way around. Translated by award-winning author and translator Aharon Amir, the book also features a foreword by Dr. Gal Gerson, a noted lecturer of nineteenth and twentieth-century intellectual history at the University of Haifa.
